Letter to our Little Monkey

Dear Baby O, I thought of you today.  I thought of how I can't wait to hold you, to teach you, and to play with you. You are a gift from God!  Your daddy and I can't wait to meet you! Neither can bear and joy...they are ready for someone to chase them :-) you are always on our mind. Wondering what your favorite color is going to be...what your favorite thing to do will be. We already love you and we haven't even met yet but you are loved beyond measure!!!!! We have hoped and prayed for so long for you and we know that God has mighty big plans for you! We are excited to have you and help you grow in many things. We want nothing but the best for you. You may not have grown in my tummy but always know that you grew in my heart! We love you monkey and we can't wait for the day to hold you! ♥♥♥♥ Lots and lots of love, Your mommy and daddy

UPDATE!!!

Ok some good news happened when I got home from work today. After trying to get bear's license for almost a month...we received in the mail our case number for our adoption process through the courts. Now we are just waiting on the courts approval to be official! :-) Also, we got our final homestudy paperwork from the agency so we can start applying for grants. This is so awesome considering we made our decision a month ago! :-) praise God on this quick process and we continue to pray it continues!!! :-)  Our completed homestudy!!! :-D

FINALLY!!!!!

We were finally able to get bear's license today! It has taken a month all because of of a stupid fee that we had NO idea we had. But all that is paid and he now has his license. We emailed that paperwork to our agency today...they will finish finalizing our homestudy and then send it into the courts! :-) yeah! Just that much closer to becoming "paper pregnant"!!! :-D On top of that we are going to have a garage sale in march so I've been asking several people and so far we are getting tons of stuff! Some big items too like a big lot of ps2 games with controllers and counsel and so much more....a dresser....and many other items. We are looking forward to seeing what God keeps in store of us as we plunge farther into this process. It's been awesome and exciting (and stressful lol)! :-D

Our Letter

Well over 100 letters were sent out on Monday...I also sent out several before that on Friday...all explaining our story and asking for support in a few different way. I have debated on putting the letter on here or not...I finally decided to put it on here because it does tell more of our actual story...our struggles with infertility and just trying our best to rely on God, even though we have had some unanswered prayers.  I also know that some of you read this that I don't know, but have been following our story...so I guess this would be for you as well. So here we are, being transparent... Dear Friends and Family: Did you know that there are over 100,000 children in the U.S. are in need of a permanent, loving home at this moment?  Or that 94,000 of them will not be able to find a home in 2013? Every child deserves to grow up in a loving, stable, and permanent home. Steve and I have decided to adopt at least one of these children and we have discovered a couple of ways

What a Week!

So I have been extremely busy with my "business" that I started... I have had several orders for all kinds of things.  A few items that I have done are below that I thought I would share with some of you.  I think my favorite item that I have done so far are these cute infant/baby converse shoes.  I told Steve that I am for sure making a few pairs for our own child!!! They turned out adorable!!! :D  I have finished so many projects this week it's been crazy.  I still have some orders pending as well.  I need to make another pair of infant ballet shoes (they don't take long at all)...crowns...a ski hat...I believe that's it.  Most of the money (see the thermometer off to the right on this blog) has been from my little business that I'm doing.  I'm so amazed to see how fast this site has come along and how God is really using my talent and joy to make things to be able to raise money for our little one as well. Not to mention doing that, I finished our sup

I love Randomness!!!

I have to share this story of how today was filled with randomness!!  I took some dish scrubbies to work today for a lady that I work for and she asked how much.  I told her they are only $1 a piece, so $5...so she asked if a check was ok.  I told her yes...thought it was weird for just 5 bucks, but whatever...cash, check...it all works the same in my eyes!!! LOL  So anyway, I was chit-chatting with her about the weekend and that, she finished the check, handed it to me, and I said my goodbye without looking at the check.  As I was walking down to my room I glanced at the check and had to do a double take because it sure wasn't $5!!!!  I was in awe that I just stood there in the hallway looking at it and debating going back...but instead I have decided to write her a thank you note because WOW that was completely random and a great surprise! :) Then on top of that...I got home from work today and Steve was on the computer.  I noticed a card sitting there with a little baby outfit

Joy with Toy
