About Us

My name is Christine (Chris for short) and I'm a mother to two girls. Anna is 2 and a half and Olivia is 3 months. My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 14 years now. We enjoy anything outside. We love to go on hikes, walks, the beach, camping, biking, and even taking the girls to the park. Steve is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and I grew up in Michigan. Our first 4 years of marriage we lived in Michigan. We then moved to the Phoenix area and lived there for 8 years. We have now been in Utah for 2 years and love it.

Steve enjoys working with is hands as well. He will tell you that he's not good at it, but he enjoys it. He loves spending time with the girls and just hanging out. He's quite and reserved. We compliment each other greatly. 

Anna is 2 and a half and just loves life. She enjoys playing outside, with bubbles, and with her doll. She is a little momma as she cares for her babies by putting them in the swing, the car seat, on the play mat, and even to bed. She even makes sure they are nursed. She is a smart kid as she knows how to count to 10 and can get pretty darn close to 20. She also knows her ABCs and can recognize some letters. She's also knows a lot of her colors. She also enjoys books. Her favorite show to watch (when she gets that) is Curious George.

Olivia is 3 months old. Her favorite thing to eat is homemade momma milk. She loves to smile and giggle. Recently she learned how to roll from back to tummy. She loves her mirror that plays music on her play mat too. Snuggling is one of her favorite activities.

I decided to write a blog back when we were going through the adoption process now about 4 years ago. Things happened and I stopped writing. I then wrote a blog about Anna and how she came about and then again, stopped writing. Since then, I've come to realize how much I miss writing and decided to pick it back up again.
